Do I need to understand all 8 wavelengths and settings?
Not at all. They’re there to help you, not complicate things. Helion panels include 7 smart preset modes: Wellness, Skin, Joint, Muscle, Sleep, Fat Loss and Pets, so you can simply choose your goal and start your session.
Prefer to keep things even simpler? You can turn on Red Light, Near-Infrared Light, or both together and get started.

Do I need eye protection?
Eye protection is recommended, particularly when using your Helion panel on or near the face, as the light can be very bright. Every Helion panel includes a pair of protective goggles for this purpose.

So far I am very impressed with the product! It’s quite large and very bright. It came well packaged with a detailed booklet of instructions, a door hanging cable, and glasses for when you use NIR. It feels solid and well made. I like how you can turn on and off the NIR depending on your needs. I have been using it on my face with just red light and on my hand (tendinitis) with NIR. It feels amazing and in these gray winter months it’s like a sun lamp. I will report back on any issues and how my skin is progressing.

It’s small but mighty!! Definitely helping firming my skin. I try to use it 5x a week. I work in de toons since it is smaller but I like that they disclose the irradiance. Many don’t. I have had my Red light for about a month and with consistent use I have noticed some pain relief I believe from nerve damage from having the shingles in the past. The pain isn't completely gone but I am hooked and will routinely continue to use it in hopes that it will eventually clear up all of my pain.
